OK, I know this might not be popular but there do have to be some ground rules in here. Nothing heavy handed, just some common sense!

1. No posting personal details as they'll be deleted as soon as they're spotted. This includes addresses, phone numbers etc. If you want to pass this info onto someone do it by personal message or get their email address.

2. No sexism, racism or any other ism that's not appropriate.

3. No porn pictures or links.

4. Debate is good but petty arguing, sniping and whining is pointless and boring. If you really want to get into it with someone do it in private.

5. No bullying/ganging up on posters.

6. Please give all new members a chance. Sometimes a new member can say something stupid or something that irritates the older posters and then get scared off by a barrage of abuse. Give them some time to settle in.

7. The big downloading question! If you're in a band and want to give permission for people to download your music then provide a link. Bootlegs and deleted records are tricky. I can't see a band who broke up in 1978 complaining about a live recording or a link to a single that was released and then deleted complaining but you never know. If I receive any complaints the link will be deleted. No links to official and still available releases at all!

Hopefully none of this is too limiting on your posting. I'm not going to moderate this forum with a heavy hand and I'll try to work with everyone but please use some common sense. If anyone doesn't like it then they're free to go elsewhere!
