I'll include pretty much anything on the site as long as there's some link to the Paisley area. For bands I need a biog, photos and, if possible flyers, press reviews, ticket stubs, mp3s. The site isn't only for Paisley bands - if your band played in Paisley I'll include you.
If you attended any gigs you can submit photos, details of what you remember about the crowd, the venue, the bands.
If you were part of the early punk scene in Paisley, you can submit what you remember of it and I'll include it in the 1977 section.
I credit all information I receive so if you submit something please let me know what name you want alongside it!
I can write up the pages myself but the pages that have been contributed by band members/fans are usually the best to read as the information is first hand.
The website will be growing fairly rapidly in the near future and I'm considering including early Glasgow punk bands so please get in touch. I'll also include anything else of interest like early fanzines!
If anyone spots any mistakes or would like to suggest how the website could be improved, let me know! If anyone spots anything on the site they want removed e.g. a photo of them, their name on a band page etc. just email me.
Hopefully, with your help, the site can become the best archive on the internet of early punk and its later influences in the Paisley and Glasgow area.
